Since 2012, we have led the effort to permanently establish a Cultural Center for the City of Edinburg. We have been side by side working towards a Creative Industry in Edinburg.

The Edinburg Arts Foundation advocates for the growth of the local creative industry by increasing awareness of the impact and value of the arts and culture to Edinburg and the South Texas Region by enriching the quality of life of all residents.

Our Vision is to establish the City of Edinburg as the cultural center of the Rio Grande Valley.

What We've Achieved

  • Partnered with the City Library to financially support the City’s cultural events.

  • Established ARTRAGEOUS, the City’s juried Fine Art Show.

  • Established the University Drafthouse BeerFest as a fundraiser.

  • Partnered with the University Drafthouse and the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce for the Beer Festival.

  • Brought focus to the old Sam Houston Elementary School as the Cultural Center.

  • Established a Building Committee for the Cultural Center

  • Provided capital to spearhead the Rendering of the building.

  • Became an advocate for the City’s Cultural Art Events.
