Vivian Martin is a lifetime resident of Edinburg, Texas. She has owned her own business, raised a family, and has been strongly involved in community services. Respect and appreciation of the Rio Grande Valley has influenced her artwork. Vivian’s blending of brilliant colors inspired by local South Texas and Mexican cultures have enable her to create beautiful paintings of its unique lifestyle. Vivian’s commissioned portraits and other paintings hang in many homes across the United States, Texas, the Rio Grande Valley and Mexico. Vivian is currently a Board Member on the Edinburg Arts Foundation, where she works very hard to raise proceeds, for the renovation of the Sam Houston School building the future Arts and Cultural Center of South Texas in Edinburg.
