Edinburg Arts Foundation hosts various exhibits on a monthly basis throughout the year. Artists are selected by the Foundations Event Committee chaired by Vivian Martin. All exhibits are hosted in partnership with the City of Edinburg.

Nancy Watson was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas. She attended Edinburg High School, graduating in 1965. She also attended the University of Texas Pan American, now UTRGV, graduating in 1971. She has taught art for thirty years and continues to teach private classes to this day. Over the last few years, she has worked with several non – profit organizations, often donating art work for silent auctions. Nancy’s passion for painting is centered on Mexican people and their rich cultural heritage.
Nancy has participated in several art shows including Fam Fest on South Padre Island and Artrageous in McAllen. In the early 1970s, she got the urge to travel, having lived in Spain for a month. She also visited Canada, Italy, France, and Belgium on her travel journey. Currently Nancy resides a few miles from South Padre Island, where she spends time relaxing and painting. She has two sons and five grandchildren, all of whom live in San Antonio, where she hopes to move one day.
